The Law of Attraction & Shadow
Somehow the Universal Laws of Attraction appear to be ready to react more efficiently and quickly to individuals who take action backed up by real desire.
This really doesn’t have to be huge action. You don’t have to try to move the impossible in your efforts. But most often experts in the field writing about creation will observe that you need some significant action that will take you towards your goal.
And you don’t give up, come what may!
Why Shadow Gets In The Way
The shadow is a psychological term for everything we can’t see in ourselves. Most of us go to great lengths to protect our self-image from anything unflattering or unfamiliar. And so it’s easier to observe another’s shadow before acknowledging one’s own shadow. Every human being is susceptible to this. However, exploring your shadow can lead to greater authenticity, creativity, energy, and personal awakening. This introspective process is essential for achieving mature adulthood and the fullness of self expression which comes with it. This also enables the connection with the Sovereign archetype, which is the route to connection with something bigger than ourselves. That is the key to being able to manifest easily. This kind of shadow work is hard to do but massively rewarding.
It’s almost as though the Great Mystery wants to know you are determined – so imagine your objectives in vivid detail for about 40 minutes a day and take two small steps every day that move you in the direction in which you want to advance.
Given that you’re satisfying those prerequisites, and that your belief, your desire for an outcome, and also your expectation are adequately intense, you’ll find creation is the most natural thing in your life to master.
How To Manifest The Objectives You Desire
Unsurprisingly a huge number of men and women are keen to discover how they might control their lives for the better. Or how they can enjoy a more desirable world experience around them. Or how they can manifest – that is to say, bring into reality – the places, people, and events that they wish for.
You may not be surprised to hear that attracting what you want is rather more challenging than it might look as a beginner.
It’s not a real battle with the will of the universe to co-create something by using the Law Of Attraction! However, it does require you to think of a objective and envision it in detail every day for 20 minutes. You do this using with the mental energy and effort which really makes the Law of Manifestation start functioning effectively. To do this, you need to have explored your shadow to find out what might be standing in the way of your ability to believe in your ability to get your objective.
Now, before we move any further let me say creation is actually the universe manifesting things that you expect and believe in. The Law of Manifestation – click here for more – which is also called the Universal Law of Attraction – is the manifestation of the divine that enables a genuine part of our being to manifest our desired objectives.
Using it, you come to realize that all the events and circumstances impacting each of us in every moment must surely be the product of our collective subconscious thoughts and beliefs as well as our goals and wishes.
For example, when it is obvious you have less money to draw on than you need, that is probably because you have a belief system about just how much financial wealth you can invite into your life. Or perhaps, you hold shadow beliefs about how valuable you are – or something with a similar effect in the reality of your life.
And if you are not in a intimate one to one relationship, but want to be, then you will probably have an unconscious belief about how appealing (or more likely unappealing!) you are to someone else, an expected romantic lover.
Which means, as I am certain you can accept, the caliber of your entire life is merely the distillation of your profoundly held beliefs about your very being.
At this stage you almost realize that to make a law of attraction work, your deeply held, most profound beliefs about yourself and the world have to be in line with the objective you are desiring to reach. The way to achieve this is through shadow work.
If, for instance, you think that you come from a poverty-stricken background and that struggling financially is your inevitable destiny, there is simply no sense at all in attempting to become wealthy – at least, not until you have amended, destroyed or changed those limiting beliefs.
How they you be certain that your beliefs match your hopes? In other words, how do you ever know you aren’t working with a set of subconscious beliefs which will block you from reaching your aims?
Beliefs and manifestation
The clearest and most efficient way of making this happen is to imagine accomplishing the objective which you have set yourself.
For example, if you desire to have six million bucks in a bank account in 10 years’ time, then you can sit down in a peaceful place and envision how it feels as you envision the experience. If it feels congruent, good for you. If not, change your objective until you can believe in it!
Law of Attraction
People think that when they use the Law of Attraction, the process is going to be easy.
And indeed, that’s how it’s often depicted – the idea seems to be that if you spend 15 minutes twice a day visualizing what you want, on a daily basis, and believing in it 100%, then that thing will manifest in your life almost immediately.
But the truth of the matter is rather different – very few people in this world are in charge of their lives, and even fewer have control of the process of manifestation.
So what really holds people back from employing the discipline or the techniques necessary to manifest what apparently is an unlimited supply of information and resources from the universe?
I don’t know the answer to that question, but what I want to do here is just go over the techniques that apparently are most successful, most often.
Visualization and Manifestation Go Together
Start by deciding exactly what you want.
Now of course this is challenging for many people because they don’t actually know what they want, and they don’t want it passionately even when they do have a dream.
Yet you are not going to get what you want if you don’t know what exactly you desire. Think of going out on a journey – if you don’t know where you’re going, your journey is going to be chaotic, random, and you’ll probably end up getting lost.
The same is true of anybody who is trying to manifest anything: if you don’t have an outcome or desire or goal in mind, your journey can only be random, and you probably will end up feeling spiritually lost too.
Start by deciding what exactly want, and frankly if you’re new to manifestation, the most likely way you’re going to achieve success is by starting out with a small objective.
That can manifest successfully with comparative ease, because your difficulty will be in believing that it’s possible to get something major like a new relationship or a new house.
Take this step-by-step, and build your confidence as you go.
The next step is to find a method in which you can visualize your ideal outcome.
You may have your own method of meditation already, but whatever you do use for this needs to be conducted in a certain state of mind – the alpha state.
You need to find some instructions on how to move into the alpha state, which isn’t difficult; you will find those instructions somewhere on the Internet.
And my experience is that the longer I have available to meditate, the more likely I am to be able to get into the alpha state and at the same time successfully visualize my desired outcome.
So if you’re going to do this seriously, then you might want to devote a fair chunk of time to depicting your goal in your imagination. And it is permissible to let your mind wander.
This is a state of mind we could call daydreaming, and it’s very useful for creating an image of what you want, imagining how life might be for you, and coming up with more ideas about manifesting your goal or outcome. For example – could this be your outcome? It’s specific, measurable and clear, certainly – but do you believe it is possible? (That’s critical!!)
What you’re trying to do is imagine what things will be like when you’ve completed your visualization and it has manifested in your life.
This is NOT about how you’re going to get your outcome. As has been so wisely said, your responsibility is merely to have the will, not the way!
The universe is going to figure out exactly how it’s going to happen. See highexistence.com for more on that.
When you may think your goal is a fantasy, and it’s impossible, find something you can believe in! Then you stimulate yourself into a frame of mind where you can begin to feel thankful and grateful for the outcome as you depicted in your mind.
Rinse and repeat: well yes, that’s the next step.
You have to visualize what you want every day of your life, between 30 minutes and an hour, or perhaps even more if that feels right to you.
And you have to do repeat the imagination of your desired outcome so many times that it becomes second nature to you. In effect what you’re trying to do becomes implanted into your subconscious as your current reality – in other words, as though that reality already existed for you.
And of course as I’ve mentioned above, when you create your ideal outcome, and imprint it on the subconscious mind, and relate to the universal intelligence by feeling grateful, and happy, and joyous, then the universe immediately responds.
So you need to put as much emotion into your visualization as you possibly can – that is, at the end of the day, what will make it work.
And now what you do?
The answer is: you expect something to happen.
And when opportunities and indications arise which may be relevant to to the achievement of your goal, grab them with both hands.
Now iit’s up to you to find the opportunities that the universe is presenting you with to further your goals and ambitions and dreams.
Failing to act on the opportunities the universe presents to you will indeed convey to the universe the message that you are simply not interested in achieving your goal – and when you think about it, that has to be a reasonable conclusion!
When the universe has a “program” and is acting to bring it about on your behalf, and you don’t seize the opportunities presented to you, what other conclusion could there be than the fact that you are not serious about getting what you want, or you are expecting it to be delivered on a plate, or you’re too fearful to actually engage fully with your dream?
